Resources

The Human Resources Database (HRDB) is a strategic decision-support tool comprising a comprehensive and standardized repository of key human resources information for the post-secondary sector. It includes data on faculty, support staff, student workers, and excluded employees.

The HRDB is used to support a wide range of functions, including collective bargaining, budget and resource analysis, government planning and policy development, as well as institutional financial and human resources strategic planning.

The database contains detailed historical records on all sector employees, with core data categories including:

  • Full-Time Equivalents (FTEs) and headcounts
  • Total compensation
  • Benefit costs and coverage details
  • Salary scales and associated FTEs

User access is required. Please contact us at psea@psea.bc.ca if you think you should have access to HRDB.
